Geelong SC hosts 2011 Macedonian Cup

Our club is very excited about hosting this tournament next weekend, the 12th &13th of March. Teams from all over Victoria will be travelling to our Stead Park to compete in this competition. The playing format is round-robin with the highest placed teams then competing in a Finals Series.

This is an excellent opportunity to see clubs in action such as Altona Magic, Preston Lions, Lalor United, Keilor Wolves and many more. Teams will be represented by Senior, Reserve and Womens teams so it will be a carnival of soccer.

This is the second year of the running of the Macedonian Cup, we hope it will be as successful as last years which was hosted by Altona Magic.

Our club is thrilled to host this year's event, we look forward to welcoming all our guest clubs and hope they enjoy their Geelong experience. Hope to see some exciting, entertaining, and high standards of soccer. Good luck everyone.
