Geelong SC sit in second place with a game in hand after defeating Melbourne Uni 1-0.After a rollercoaster week which saw Lu Temelkovski resign as coach and a 2-1 defeat to Maribrynong Greens, who are currently engaged in a relegation battle, Geelong had to step up or risk losing a shot at promotion.
Our Sunday League Mens Team wins the League!

On the weekend our Sunday league men defeated Barwon Heads 5-1, this win moves our team 7 points clear on top of the Ladder with one game to go. Second placed Barwon lost on the weekend so they cannot catch us anymore eventhough they have one catch-up game.
Congrats to everyone on the team! We're had a very large squad this year.

Promotion-bound Geelong forced to find caretaker, August 20th, 2010
GEELONG Soccer Club has parted ways with coach Lu Temelkovski despite being on the brink of clinching the State League 3 championship.
Temelkovski resigned in the wake of last weekend's win over Keilor Park.
Sunday Mens Team defeats Deakin 3-2

Last weekend our Mens team won @ Deakin University.
The match was played in very heavy muddy conditions. Our team was seemingly handling the conditions better but found themselves down 2-1 with 9 minutes left in the match. It took late goals from Dylan and Con to win us the match.
