GRFA Men win @ Deakin Uni

Our GRFA Men continued their pressuring of 2nd placed Barwon Heads by winning at Deakin University with a scoreline of 2-1.Our team prevailed in a tight contest thanks to two classy goals from Kosta and Miki.
Kosta opened the scoring late in the first half. Geogi played a perfectly weighted ball through for Kosta, Kosta met the pass under pressure striking his shot low and past the advancing Deakin keeper.
Miki scored the winner midway in the second half, controlling a high ball in the penalty area before turning and blasting home a half volley.
Congratulations team! It was an ugly win but a much needed one. Robbi was probably our best player.
