Open Women lose in Torquay

A well drilled Surf-Coast team defeated Geelong 3-0 in a rather hard fought physical encounter. Once again the smaller ground did not suit our style of play. Some simple defensive errors contributed to easy turnovers that result in goals for Surf-Coast. The true-grit and diehard effort displayed by Stephanie was a positive for Geelong. She was also strongly supported by Kate, Sumeyra and Daniella.
