U16 Girls defeated in Torquay

The young and inexperienced Geelong girls were unable to hold-off a fast finishing Surf-Coast outfit by going down 0-2. Amy Doj, Emily Livesey and Emily Jov in goals contained a determined Surf-Coast, scoreless in the first half but were unable to curb the Surf-Coast momentum in the second half. Even though the girls lost the game, they were winners in the manner in which they never gave up. A very tired Miranda and Antonia were among the new players that lead by example.
