This week saw the start of finals and a buzz was lingering throughout both teams.  Geelong had to play against Breakwater in blustery conditions up at Stead Park.  Breakwater defensively were very hard for Geelong to breakdown but through some good ball movement Geelong created many chances without converting them.  The only goal was scored by Milly Livesey, a fine effort on her behalf since she was tagged by no less than two player at any one time.  Geelong now look forward to their second grand final in consecutive years; will they be able to make up for last year’s Grand Final disappointment?
