WERRIBEE City has signed former Australian international defender Craig Moore on a guest stint.

The Bees' hive is already buzzing with former Socceroos Joe Spiteri and Danny Tiatto in the ranks of the ambitious Football Federation Victoria men's state league 2 north-west club.

Moore, 35, is confirmed to play a minimum of one game, and possibly two.

Bees chairman Sam Panebianco says it will be a major coup for the club to have three former Socceroos gracing Galvin Park at the one time.

"We'd like to see Spiteri, Tiatto and Moore on the same park," he said.

"That would be great for the club."

Moore, capped more than 50 times with the Socceroos including the 2006 and 2010 FIFA World Cups, could make his debut in less than a month.

"He will make a guest appearance at one of our home games," Panebianco said.

"It might be two, but definitely one, and we're not too sure which appearance is appropriate for him at the moment."

The latest signing, Tiatto, was in the Bees' line-up for the 2-2 draw with Williamstown at JT Gray Reserve on Saturday and the Point Cook resident did not miss a beat.

"His professionalism on the park shone through," Panebianco said. "He was absolutely brilliant, as you would expect."

The game also marked a new chapter for the Bees, as Nino Ragusa took over the reins from sacked coach Danny Gnjidic for the first time.

Ragusa was brought in after excelling in an assistant coaching capacity with the top-flight Oakleigh Cannons.

"Nino's coaching and training is a bit more intense," Panebianco said.

"Coming from a Victorian Premier League club where they train three times a week and with what he's learned from [Cannons coach] Arthur Papas, I think it shows."

Panebianco would not be drawn into discussing the dismissal of Gnjidic.

The Weekly reported last week that the second-year coach was sacked due to a poor string of results.

"What you wrote in the paper, you wrote in the paper and I will leave it at that," he said.

"He's said what he wanted to say in there and I think your article in the paper was sweet."
